Well here's a small update. This is all stuff that should have been done in 2 hours but took me over 10 to do this weekend. A lot of fitting.. cutting.. grinding.. drilling.. painting.. parts/bolts runs.. etc. Still feeling like shit, so my car is progressing very slowly.. Hole for the clutch master cylinder.. obviously won't be used anymore. Plate cut/fitted Painted (ford red engine paint)... I'm aware my car will be slower now. Installed Stilll rocking the EGR/AIR setup Pieces cut out.. drilling for EGR/AIR blockoffs Driver side deleted Passenger side deleted Plate made to cover up original six-speed shifter hole Bolted in B&M ratchet shifter installed in place, using stock M6 boot (modified) and spaced up 1" in rear Driver side plugs are stupid easy to get to with the brake booster/master cyl out of the way.. so why not! Pass side.. still a PITA! Lotta carbon on the plugs.. the tune is definitely a ways off. That's all for now. Not a whole lot of production for now.. just plugging away at small and very time consuming things. I did have to hack up my stock M6 boot to fit over the shifter, which I'm not very happy about.. I'll probably end up getting a custom one sewed. I also had to hack a small notch in to my M6 upper center console so I could get the shifter sitting as far forward as possible to give it a stock location. It looks and feels great while in the car though! More updates this week I hope.

Well boys and girls.. princess got her first drive on the street tonight! It started misting lightly as I rolled out of the garage, but I HAD to test it out anyways. I'm proud to say absolutely everything works perfectly the first time.. not a single issue. Dirty interior lol. You can see how the shifter is mounted, I left the t-brake wires out of the boot so I could unplug them for driving it around on the streets and for race days. You can also see my shift light in the pillar defrost vent Mounted the cooler up with the traditional zip ties. What a large cooler it is... Cooler line routing.. fastened on the lower plastics at the front of the car (top of pic) and I made a bracket to bolt on to the AC compressor bolt Herro there. The TH350 with dakota digital speedo adapter, trans brake, and UMI crossmember. I want to kill whoever ordered this Lokar dipstick. It's $80 for a 2' dipstick, like what I have here. It sits way behind the cowl and is just a plain BITCH to get a funnel on. Not to mention it's TINY tube that you have to modify even the smallest funnel to fit in. I ended up using a piece of brake line in the end of a funnel and a ton of electrical tape. A 3' is available for $10 more.. spend the $10. Now I'm stuck using a shitty non-mountable dipstick or blowing $90 on a new one. It won't reach ANYWHERE. Took roughly 45 minutes to fill 2 gallons of ATF. And more time today to top it off. My e-cutout was melting the shit out of the paint on the bottom of the car where it sits in that "pocket" near the rear seat. So, I decided a turn down is in order. If you cut the turn down short enough, it WILL fit with the cutout in the pocket. This turned out PERFECT. Of course, flowtechs have the plate studs welded in so you have to cut them out and replace them with bolts.. but this whole setup only took us 30 mins or so tonight. Quick video of the first start after the trans went in. This is open headers! Man it sounded amazing.. and ear piercing loud. High compression 408 + open headers + garage = silly. smg.photobucket.com/albums/v258/FlashLCD33/99%20super%20sport/?action=view¤t=100_0090.flvEverything is buttoned up except putting the center console back in because I was too excited to drive it. I had to hack up the shifter boot and the upper console itself to get this to work.. I'm kicking myself now because they sell for over $100 in good shape and I'm considering making an auto console for mine anyways.. oh well I guess. More updates this week including lowering the car, centering the rear, putting drag shocks on, and test fitting the new wheels and tires

Well, Princess got a 7 hour buff/polish on Tuesday. The sun came out today and... NO MORE SWIRLS! It looks excellent! Now I just need to remove the door moldings, the buffer ate in to them. I do a lot of buffing and these are the softest I've seen yet! Tonight I decided to clean up the garage and I was going to lower the car but I got lazy. So, I put the center console back in and then threw on a little more vinyl The cubby hole is back in now.. ORLY! This weekend I'll be lowering the car.. can't go too low though, my 3+ quart pan sits down pretty far! I'm hoping to fit the drag wheels too.

Yeaaah buddy! I know the transbrake wires look tacky and I could have ran them in the boot, but I decided to leave them out FOR NOW so I can unplug them for street use so I don't accidentally hit it. I'm planning on building a switch panel for everything else and throwing a t-brake power on/off switch also.

Thanks! It has Texas Speed Stage 3 LS6 heads and an MS4 cam (239/242, .649"/.609). Not near enough cam for the bigger cubes or heads. I'm planning on swapping it out at some time for a Texas Giant (248/254, .615"/.622") or maybe a custom grind. No track times yet.. I actually made it home with the car the day after the last T+T. I bought it in Florida, flew there and drove it home. 24+ hours of driving and 27mpg ;D. It's changed A LOT since I got it My last car went 11.9s with just a mild cam, boltons, stall, and gears. This car has a lot more suspension, more powerrzz, bigger stall, better trans w/ brake, and better gearing. I'm excited to see what it'll do if I can get it to hook and not break!

I'd really like to see a 10.99 just for the number. but I wont be heart broken if it doesn't. My original goal was 10.X while spraying the car.. but I've run in to some issues and it looks like the car will be staying NA. More progress tonight! Good bye stock rear shocks and spring isolators Hello Comp Engineering rear shocks! Hello heater-hose mod! Josey did work! Lowered the QA1s, and mounted the drag wheels!! Rears! Once the adjustable panhard rod was on it only took minimal BFH mod, but I drove it up the block and still had some rubbing, so more BFH mod tomorrow. Not a whole lot of room to spare with a 28... And here's the horrible ground clearance now. I might have to raise the front a little.. I'm terrified about destroying my $$expensive$$ tranny pan. Final stance I'll get some outside pictures tomorrow if it's nice. I have a race with a bike on Wednesday.. I should have her in full drag trim by then.. I'll make sure to get video
