I rolled it outside today for some pics! I'm going to wash/detail it tomorrow again so I'll have some more when it's clean. I finally finished up the BFH mod on the fender wells today, my first pass with the hammer didn't do the trick completely. It's fixed now, I test drove it and did some WOT passes to make sure I wouldn't run in to any issues when it squats. WOW is all I can say, traction!!!!!! It has a little more of a redneck rake than I really like.. I'll prob be raising the front up a little. I think it'll look perfect on 26s all around. On my test drive it kicked on the ABS INOP, BRAKE, and ASR OFF lights. The different tire sizes are confusing the ABS I believe. It's not there on low speeds, but kicks on over 35-40ish mph. Changing fluid in the rear tonight and fixing my header collector gaskets, then I believe she's ready! Other than waiting on my friend with a welder that has some free time to weld on my LCA relocations. And I'm going to have the grille painted gloss black.. bare plastic was a stupid idea GM!

Looks sick man!
The offset tire sizes are probably messing with it a little, but the PCM sending out a conflicting speed signal is probably most of it.
We shall see when the speedo is corrected soon!

Nah I've driven it plenty on stock wheels/tires and never had an issue. First test drive with these and it comes on, and every time. I believe the ABS runs only off of the individual wheel speed sensors and not the VSS.
But, it will be great to have a working speedo. I forget what days you said again? I have access to a trailer now so the cold start issue can be fixed right away.

The wheels are probably most of the concern for sure. There is also a sanity check that the ABS performs to make sure it's wheel speed inputs are functioning properly. It accomplishes this by checking its wheel speed vs. the speed signal broadcast by the PCM over the network.
The PCM's broadcast signal is also used by the cluster for speedometer indication.
I'm really suprised you never had the problems with the stock wheels and 3spd, with the VSS being that far off.

LOL more like it's slow going fast. I did a quick 130mph burst the other day and saw about 40.
