I'm in the process of building a 1977 gmc sierra with a 2005 lq4 6.0. The engine should be here Friday. I'm going through a built 4l60 trans. Going to be full bolt on with stock stall first year. Looking for low 14's. I will try to get some pics up of the engine and trans and headers this weekend. Dave can help me with this.

hol-e-shit that LMC truck shipment was HUGE!!! The WHOLE side of the shop is all parts! This week is gonna be fun, hope somebody bought that coffee pot for the shop, we're gonna need it!!!
Maybe Dave will make it out to snap a few. I'm not shaving till this one is done, gonna make ZZ Top look like a teenager!

That looks like fun project, those 6.0s are awsome in a truck, bolt ons, cam stall and gears will get you mid 12s ease. hope to see it run soon!

Ok, iv been out of the loop for awhile now and im confused. So fill me in. The GMC ya'll had was blue at first, then black but it was a short bed. Swapped a 5.3 in it correct?? Now is this a different truck?? Cause this has a long bed, an LQ4, but looks like the floor in the cab is blue like the old one??  |

lol, it's confusing that the brothers have two of the same color trucks!
J has the completed '86 Shortbed. 5.3L, Cam. It's currently getting a Magnacharger and Meth kit installed.
Jared has the longbed '77, with the LQ4 swap going on.

NICE!!! What kinda headers are those? They custom made for an LS swap to that body style? They're custom made, by Jared lol. They were Fbody headers, but have been altered to fit the truck. |
