Got the trans updates installed. Now has dual cage forward sprag, 9 clutch Borg-Warner's on the 3-4, and the HD 2-3 Shift valve. Got it all installed and tested today. I call this model the T1000:

Got the Cable-X installed today! Pretty cool little unit. It's got a butt ton of settings so it will work on most anything. But in our application we'll be feeding the speed signal from the PCM so it will still be setup in the tune, which is pretty cool because you can change the manual speedometer though programming! All done:

Got the 77 up and running today again. She now has ls6 heads with 59.8cc chambers (10.87cr) and a 208-218 550lift 112lsa cam in it. Cam is a bit small but its a daily so its going to stay this way till he gos all out with it. Feels much stronger now, hope to have it down on opening day with a 100 plat shot as well.

Truck pull hard to 6500 now.. that little cam did alot on the hi end power. The hi cr dont want to take much timing tho.. may end up putting it on e85 if we go nitrous on it.

A little update on the 77, the cam i put in was a factory regride cam and it was making a little to much valve train noise for me and after doing a little research sounds like the factory regrind is a no no cause they cut past the hardern steel on the base of the cam. sooo, we are doing what has to be done and doing another cam swap, we picked up a camp xer 228-232 588-596 114lsa cam. This will also be a good upgrade over whats in it, Im going to start on it tonight and should have her up and running tomarrow. Hope to see some 12s now!

Ya Mobil is the shizit. I used it on my '96 4.6L for a while. It was a dirty bitch when i did the cams install, then later when I opened up the motor again, it was just like that.

The 77 is alive with the new cam, got a little more tuning to do but iv done a few wot pulls alrealy and it feels strong. I see mid 12s out of this thing if it hooks, it will spin these 325 drag radials at 50mph.. we need to do some work on the rear..
