Hey Jared, what did you do with the car converter that was in your truck? I want a slightly looser than stock converter in mine when I get my 6.0, which btw is supposed to show up in Dodge City on Friday!

I believe the stock car and truck converters are the same. Anyways I used Alan's stocker from his 2006 4l65e. If you want it he might let you use it. But I'm 99% sure they are the same as the trucks.

How high could you brake stall it? If you were ever able to go full throttle without braking the tires loose.

The trans/converter came out of a 2006 HHR. I can get the code from the front of it if you like, but I was unable to find a good reference to lookup the code when I was installing it.
I couldn't get more than 1800 or so in my car with it. I'm sure behind a truck it would go a little higher. However, I did run my best 60' on street tires with that stall, a 1.98. However, I think most of that was D/A as it was around 500 ft that run.
But, you're more than welcome to use it if you like.

See The highest I could ever brake stall it was around 1500. It would start to power brake if I tried any higher.

I noticed no difference in it vs. my stock '00 stall. I'm 99pct sure they were the same.

Well I got all my stock suspension back on and race shocks up front, Removed sway bar. Adjusted pinion angle and got the 30X12.50's on. So far it is night and day. It dead hooks from a 7-10 roll. I am racing Saturday but because of the heat I will be happy with a 13.4-13.5 at 97 mph.

Heat shouldnt affect 60 ft too much. Final et yes but 60 no I think it's dependent on the vehicle. With the EFI cars i've noticed that 60's suffer in the summer months. My own is a good example. I ran consistent low 1.7's and a few 1.6's in the spring. During the high heat days in the summer, my best 60' has been 1.78 and worst 1.85. It makes sense, altitude=thinner and hotter air. I think most of the 60' reduction is due to higher IAT temps on takeoff resulting in less ignition timing. My IAT's directly off the line are around 150 or so on a hot summer day, on almost all tunes I cut back the timing retard from factory as it starts around 110ish. I usually pull it back to 130 and reduce it to -2 degrees to 150 then get aggressive, depending on the vehicle setup.
