Got the head flange all planed flat so we get a nice seal. There was a slight amout of warpage from the welding process. He didn't have to remove as much as I thought tho, very little in fact:

Thanks Jake. I hope it functions as good as it looks!
Got the engine all painted up and trans back apart so I can switch it back to 2wd. Need to get some parts ordered so I can get the motor back together. Hoping to have everything by this weekend so I can get it all put back into the car for good this time.
Still got a ways to go, but the majority of the hard stuff is done at this point.

Woot! Parts from TX Speed out for delivery today. Trans is ready to be reassembled as well. Should have the drivetrain all put back in for good this weekend. Ordering Cold Side stuff next week. I'm pushing for a pass this year, but damn it's going to be close.

Lol, ah how I miss the turbo sound : However I think he should be practicing that in a less populated area. I never understood why the Mustang burned out so straight? This vid was dig to top of 2nd with 2.73's which was around 100 mph, and it was like an arrow: I'm betting the vic is going to be impossible to try this in again. And to all my law enforcement friends, this was an entirely desolate road as you can tell. Over 30mi into another county to be exact.

Got some more done! All painted up: Had the oil drain welded into the pan: Back together for good? Got to pick up some DEI Titanium wrap this week, paint/wrap the log and crossover and install it all. Still got a ways to go but it's getting closer by the day.

Moving right along again! The power steering hookup looks pretty straightforward. Good 'ole GM, looks like they use the standard fuel line O-Ring style end on the power steering pump pressure line. Here's the factory pickup line and the regulator fitting adapter from the pump: The stock pickup line bends in such a way that I can't use it, but being as the flare is the same as a GM Fuel Line, I have a Hydraulic Crimp tool that makes those flares: So, I can turn any piece of steel brake line into the proper fitting: So that gets me out and away from the motor pump. Then, all I have to do is cut the factory Ford pressure hose after the rubber where I want it, double flare the end I made and the cut Ford hose, and we got a GM to Ford hose using the discarded OE parts. I did the same on Dan's '96 GT swap: Got 2 rolls of the wide and 1 of the narrow of the DEI Titanium wrap. Going to wrap/clamp the entire turbo system: The -10 (1/2") Drain fittings look good. I'm going with Braided Steel Line on the drain for looks and security: They said on tech a -10 was a tight fit on a T4, and damn it is, but clears fine: A 76MM is pretty decent size in comparison to the 70MM: So I should have the turbo system all on for good this weekend minus the Cold side. I'm ordering all the Cold side this coming week if I get far enough this weekend. 2008 WP installed, all accessories on minus A/C Compressor: I'm plugging away as fast as I possibly can with a full time job that's busy as heck this time of year. It might be by September, but that's a stretch.
