We have ignition ;D
Everything sounds great, motor is quiet and I don't see any problems.
Still got a bit of cleanup to do underhood, then a test drive! And yes, that EGR plug is temporary, my Billet piece won't be here till Friday or Monday.

Ya that and last night was awesome. Man this car is SOOOOOO much more modern, I love it! Floats like a dream on the highway. The Autolamps/ect are REALLY spoiling me!
So far so good, I need to get the stock Ford 19lb injectors removed and swapped for some real injectors...lol. I haven't really got on it much cause I Know i'll be running out of fuel in a hurry. Need to get the Walbro installed as well. Spent the weekend chasing a small oil leak and fixing a coolant leak. Other then that, everything works beautifully. Also put some exhaust on her last night, soooooo much better now!!!!
It's going to be a bit before she sees real boost tho, i'm leaving for Vacation next month and things will come to a halt by then. Should be hard core on it by December again if there isn't too much snow flying.
Just glad it's getting closer and I can actually drive it now. I'm sure this thing will make many a trip to work now and give the pickup some much needed time off. The Vic is just too comfortible. lol.
The downside is I finally weighed it, and although I was hoping for a little lighter, she clocks 3920 without driver. I was planning on 4200 max with driver, and we're about 4150 with my big hairy ass in the seat.
Gonna have to push this combo pretty good to hit my goal of low 11's @ 125-130
Also, I will be at the Show 'n Shine this Friday with the Vic. She's not 100% done, but good enought to make 1 event this year. It's at Burger King from 6-9PM. Jared is going to try and make it with the Turbo S10 Xtreme as well, but we don't know for sure if we can get it done by then.

I hit 122.6 on 11psi in Amarillo (3600ft track) with a little head wind in my truck! It weighs 4200 with me in it, AND it spun hard when the boost came in. It went spun through first and a long ways into second! Those speed numbers will be easily doable in your car

Very nice. Ya Jake had told me your MPH looks real good, i'm hella excited about that!
I'm going to try and get the Injectors swapped out, and possibly the Fuel Pump installed this weekend. And MAYBE, just MAYBE make a hella embarassing pass on street rubber and an open differential.....lol.
Stay tuned!

Lolz. Damn this car is fun! Got a few good pulls on her tonight. This was with very low timing at 15 degrees, rich AFR and i'm guessing an avg of 2.5 lbs boost and peak of 4 lbs. I need to get my gauges installed yet, but it isn't much cause I can't even hear the turbo spool, and have the gate set to lowest possible boost. lol, 101 mph is what my LS1 Camaro ran bone stock! That's hilarious for a 4150lb 4dr grandma car!!! This was on a very soft tune cause i'm flying blind with no AFR gauge. Even more exciting, the new intercooler seems to work great! Granted i'm on low boost, but the most IAT rise I had on the log was 6 degrees: Way too much fun in a grandma car! Hooks up great unless you romp it from a dig, than it's a 1 wheel wonder, and when the boost hits it's pointless...lol. I can't wait to see what more boost brings!

lol, ya kinda different from a Vic right! I know, it freaks me out every time too! I was curious as to what boost level I was running, so I hooked up a temporary gauge to see, and man was I suprised: That was only on 2psi! Re adjusted the tune cause 15 degrees is way too low for that boost level, gained almost 2mph in the 1/4 by the app: Also removed my WG reference line to make sure I could build boost. This is the weakest spring in the WG, no reference: So what i'll probalby do is get the 255 in tank installed this weekend, and leave it on 5psi. Should be more than enough power for her at the moment. Going to a car show tomorrow (if no rain!), then going to try and prep for an embarassing pass next Friday!

Finally some cancer causing smoke! Forgot to pull shifter out of OD so it shifted into 3rd almost immediately, otherwise we'd here the infamous 2nd gear mile long burnout on the limiter! lol. 7psi, pump gas The MPH is looking good if there is any accuracy to these current tests:

Well I just can't resist. I believe I've got her tuned up good enough to make a few passes Friday. It's only on 7psi, so not expecting miracles but should be low 13's/high 12's. I'm still on the 34 lb injectors and do not have my wideband installed yet so I don't want to push my luck.
It will still be cool to see this boat run close to a 12! Lol.

Go for it Alan!!! How's your stall do? I think the reason I couldn't bake stall mine much was because my rear abs wasn't working correctly, im gonna get it fixed and mabe that'll help. If I gad it jacked up I couldn't even keep the rear tires from turning when in gear, unless I used both feet on the brake pedal lol

Ya i'm excited! It's DEFINATELY not going to be near as fast as it could be, but i'm not too concerned with that. Just be happy to get it down the strip once before the year is out. I want to say 18-2000 on that stall speed, but I can't recall. We had the scanner on it and were checking that one night a while back, i'll pay attention to my logs this Friday and see at the strip. I have no tach in the car.

Well, gave everything a look over and all looks well. Been driving the car solid for over a week now with no issues. Poor truck has been sitting in the shop. Love the Vic tho, so nice and modern! My final hit before the dragstrip tonight, Idk about the calculator on this one, but we'll see: Friday here I come!
