Still no progress on the 'ole Vic. I have the boost controller and am ready to install it and begin the high boost tuning.....but due to the acquisition of the Silverado SS for my significant other, i've got a small chore list to take care of to get it up to speed with my standards. That is probably going to consume a couple of weekends at this point.
The Vic goes in for 20% Tint all around next week tho! lol, so it's not totally forgotton.
Should be hard on it again soon.

Damn, I forgot just HOW dark new 20% is:  Looks way better though. Got a long weekend coming up, should get the controller installed finally! |

A granny car a granny can't see out of.. And 600hp.. I approve. Tinted windows are a must on anything. Now u need to bolt on a wheelie bar and a shoot yet, that will really throw people off.

lol, it's borderline rediculous as is. When I put the damn gauges in, everyone that came to the light with me tried to race, it's almost like they take it as a joke....and ya I guess I see why, it's damn Vic, how fast could it possibly be from a quick assumption?? lolz. Hopefully the tint cuts down on the provoking...I mean ya I wanted something that people would 'take the bait' more on, but geez i'm going to get in trouble at this rate.
I'm glad i'm almost done with the SS, i've been wanting to turn up the boost on the Vic for months now, but between Vacation and getting the pickup, it's been getting pushed back further and further.

Ya it's amazing isn't it? I remember from the Mustang 6 to 10 was a huge jump, you wouldn't think just a little boost would make SO much difference!
I'm going to try and get it all up and going this weekend.

Well I got a little ways on the pile. Got my 3bar sensor installed, and the VE reworked for the new engine combo. However this took up most of the 2 days I had planned due to me working out nearly every driveability bug I could find. No reason it can't start and run like stock in -40 or 150 degrees though, it's a stock cam/motor and driveability is where the comfort factor is at. No hard shifts at part throttle, ect. Just like a granny car now, till you step into it! Got everything tuned to 7psi, the installed the boost controller and moved up to 13 psi, pretty big difference!
Of course, in 10 degree weather it's pretty much pointless in 1st and part of 2nd gear now. Hopefully it will warm up a bit so I can do some high boost tuning that doesn't require the slicks bolted up or 70mph+ rolls.
1 1/2 tanks of fuel and 200 hard miles over 2 days of tuning, no issues to report!

I'm suprised we didn't burn that mofo to the ground being all over the turbo like that! Then I had to be 'that guy' that rapes ass, but has the car that smokes like a chimney!

A little action a while back. Soft launch and wheelspin in 1st, leaning full into her after 2nd. 9psi, 15 degrees advance on pump gas, 20degrees ambient. Estimated 4700lbs in this video:

Got a bit on my plate for the beginning of this month, but boost controller is installed and working great. Literally a turn of the dial moves up 1-2 psi at a time. Currently at 9psi. Traction is becoming an issue this time of year, so i'll just take it as it goes.
